The lush roads of northern Iran and frustrating traffic — why should getting to our destination take so long? The documentry “Freeway” is an investigative documentary exploring the long and challenging construction of the Tehran–North Freeway. The film examines delays, unfulfilled promises, and the project’s environmental and infrastructural challenges through interviews with environmental experts, Ministry of Roads officials, and other relevant figures, while also exploring possible solutions.
