Every year on the night of November 12, which coincides with the shooting of Arash's arrow and the demarcation of Iran's borders, the people of Mazandaran hold a ritual called Lal Show. Some people go to people's homes in disguise and cover their faces with black without saying a word. This film tells two stories: Arash's preparation and departure for the shooting, and the Lal Show ritual. A family gathering takes place with storytelling, jokes, and a happy atmosphere. They wait for the Lals to arrive and strike them with the stick they hold, which symbolizes Arash's arrow, so that blessings and health will enter their lives with good prayers.
