"Woman, Camera, Look" Film Package

The film “Maryim”, directed by Elnaz Zhalechin, is a Kurdish-language social documentary that explores the life and struggles of a woman in a patriarchal society. Focusing on Maryam’s character, the documentary explores the social, cultural, and family challenges she faces in her life and attempts to present a realistic and humane picture of women’s lives in Iran.

The documentary “Sepandar: The Sacred Mountain”, directed by Nima Gholizadegan and Somayeh Motali, narrates the myths and stories of Damavand in the Shahnameh and the people who have lived and continue to live near Damavand, and the beliefs that have been woven into the hearts of the residents of Damavand by the Shahnameh.
