A story of chivalry, sacrifice and farewell; the epic of the son of Rashid Imam Hussein (AS) on the day of Ashura
This gathering is the story of the martyrdom of Imam Ali Akbar (AS) on the day of Ashura.
In the army of the Ishqiyya, after the martyrdom of Imam Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (AS) and the companions of Imam Hussein (AS), Umar ibn Saad and Shammar cheer and dance as the Imam is left alone in the plain of Karbala. They approach the Imam's tent and proudly and arrogantly shout, "Hal min Mubariz."
In the tent, the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) come to Imam Hussein (AS) with sorrow and tears because of the cruelty of the infidel army. The Imam prepares for battle and asks for his sword from Hazrat Zaynab (SA). At this time, Imam Ali Akbar (AS) arrives in the presence of his father and asks for permission to be on the battlefield.
Imam Hussein (AS) agrees to this request. Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) goes to the Ahl al-Bayt to bid farewell and bids farewell to his mother, Umm Laila, Hazrat Zaynab (SA) and his sister Hazrat Sakina and then sets off for the battlefield.
Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS)’s courage and bravery terrifies the enemy army; but on the orders of Umar bin Saad, the infidel armies surround him from all sides. In the meantime, a person named Munqidh strikes the Imam on the head with a sword and flees from the battlefield. Then, on the orders of Umar bin Saad, the soldiers attack the Imam’s body.
Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) rushes to the battlefield, fights the enemies and embraces his righteous son. Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) rushes to meet the truth on his father’s knees. Imam Hussein (AS) threw his turban around his son's neck and, with heart-wrenching sadness, returned to the tent of the Ahl al-Bayt to convey the news of his martyrdom to his family.
