Sabians

The documentary "Sabians" deals with the ritual ceremonies of followers of John the Baptist on the banks of the Karun River and the city of Ahvaz, which is very unknown and attractive. Baptism in the river and running water is the main pillar of all ceremonies from feasts to weddings. this documentary is the first professional documentary made about the Mandaeans people and has been presented with a photo book photographed by the director to visually introduce these people to the Iranian and international community.
